Bio
Nicholas Keegan is a Dancer Choreographer, Rehearsal Director, and Trade Union Representative based in London.
Over a 10 year professional career he has danced for a wide variety of projects, companies and artists in the UK and internationally. Ranging from performance work in Contemporary Galleries, to large scale bands and the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony.
Expertise
Nicholas has developed a collaborative approach to choreographing, directing, and producing.
He has produced his own work in theatre and outdoor spaces, but also likes to work closely with other artists in the direction and presentation of interesting and original work.
Activism
Nicholas is a respected campaigner for Artists' rights and Dancers' pay.
He has been an elected representative on the Equity Council since 2014, and he has championed many campaigns to improve the pay and conditions of dancers in the UK.
Nick offers consultation services on budgeting to employ dancers, this is aimed at G4A or NPO applicants. He also offers consultation on taking up Equity contracts, which covers the planning and management of using an Equity contract, and is specific to each company.
